FERCO Développement SA, Quartier Viressac, Saint Montan, France, has finalized the purchase of a production plant once inhabited by a Chr. Hansen subsidiary called SEFCAL based in St. Julien de Peyrolas. FERCO, which specializes in grape polyphenols, purchased the SEFCAL plant to expand its production base. Resident in the ex-SEFCAL plant for 10 months, FERCO has adapted the building and equipment to transfer its tannins, polyphenols and natural color production into the newly refurbished plant.
